FLARM devices and supplementary hardware from jetvision are designed to achieve the greatest possible reception range. This can be of crucial importance on the ground and in the air. The earlier you recognize other aircraft equipped with FLARM, the better your situational awareness of what is happening around you. The increased time window for a reaction, such as an evasive maneuver, gives you added safety. You can also see more FLARM devices on the ground thanks to the increased reception radius, which significantly improves performance when Helium mining, for example.
The most important features of our FLARM Hardware:
- FLARM Antennas: Our FLARM-capable Antennas are characterized by high performance. Depending on the Antenna type, our design ensures high gain, low losses and a low noise figure.
- FLARM Boosters: Whether stationary or in an airplane, increase the reception range up to four times (4x). In the air, the FLARM Boosters significantly increase safety, as you can detect other FLARM aircraft much earlier.
- FLARM Filters: You need this accessory if neighboring transmitters interfere with your reception. The high-quality components used ensure low damping.
- Bias Tees: if your active Antenna is too far away from the DC source, our bias tee can help. It loops the supply voltage into the Antenna cable directly at the receiver (transmitter).
