Premium quality OPA-5-V4A ADS-B antenna with high gain (+5.5 dBi) for receiving of Mode-S and ADS-B signals on 1090 MHz. Made of corrosion proof V4A (1.4571 316Ti) stainless steel. Ideally suited for the rough conditions on the high seas and near the coast. The included, extra robust mast clamp is also made of V4A (1.4571 316Ti) and only requires a single tool for assembly. Electrically identical to our A3 antenna, this antenna is ideal for installations with short to medium long antenna cables, or when using cables with low attenuation – less than 3 dB. The N socket of this antenna is openly accessible and should be protected from salty air or spray with sealant. Condensation in the antenna itself is prevented by a hermetically sealed seal. This antenna is part of our portfolio of seawater resistant antennas, which also includes a version for 868 MHz and a combined antenna for 1090 MHz and GNSS.
Use the sealing tape to prevent moisture from penetrating the plug connections.
